Everything importers ask us
No. With our DDP service we clear your goods on our own licences, so you don't need any specific import documentation or licence of your own.
Our margin sits in the freight, not in your product cost. So long as your goods travel on our DDP lines, sourcing, negotiation, supplier verification, 14 days of warehousing and consolidation are all free — 0% commission on product value.
You get the difference back. We only ever place a hold for the maximum landed cost. Once our China team locks the real factory price, we deduct the lower amount and refund the balance to your LKR wallet.
On chargeable weight — whichever is higher of the actual weight and the volumetric weight (L × W × H ÷ 6000). Light but bulky goods such as pillows or plastic mouldings are therefore charged by volume. Air freight has a 1 kg minimum; sea freight a 0.1 CBM minimum.
Yes — they travel as "sensitive goods" on special cargo services at a slightly higher rate, so we quote those individually. We cannot ship weapons, drugs, explosives, flammables or counterfeit branded goods. Check your product with the Import Eligibility Checker in our free tools.
